Question 1

How does it actually work?

Accepted Answer

Scroll to the group that fits your life on the island, tap its WhatsApp button, and send the pre-loaded message. A real moderator reads it and adds you -- most days it happens within hours, worst case inside 48. No app, no sign-up, no fee.

Question 2

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Completely free, every time. No Bali People Club group ever charges to join. We don't sell your number, don't spam the chat, and you won't find a single ad anywhere in the groups.

Question 3

Can I join more than one group?

Accepted Answer

Most members are, actually -- two to four groups is the norm. A dawn surf session doesn't rule out a beach-club sunset the same week. Surfers, Party & Nightlife, Yoga & Wellness -- join every one that matches your days here.

Question 4

What's the group size? Won't it be spammy?

Accepted Answer

Every group tops out at 250 members and someone actually moderates it. A promo link, a crypto pitch, anything off-topic -- deleted, and whoever posted it follows. Small and watched is how the chat stays worth opening.

Question 5

I'm only in Bali for 5 days. Worth joining?

Accepted Answer

That's the exact reason Tourists - 10 Days exists. Message us and within hours you'll have a welcome-dinner seat, an airport Grab-share, and a dozen people who actually live here pointing you toward the real spots, not the ones with the longest Instagram queue.

Question 6

I don't have WhatsApp. Another option?

Accepted Answer

On this island it runs everything -- taxis, surf lessons, even booking a scooter. Worth the install if you're staying a while. Genuinely can't get it? Message us from the contact page and we'll find another way.

Question 7

Are these groups safe? Vetted?

Accepted Answer

Nobody's added without a quick intro first -- a photo, first name, hometown, the group they're after -- checked by a moderator before they're let in. Anyone reported for scamming or harassing another member is removed, no debate. This is travellers watching out for each other, not a directory of businesses.

Question 8

Who runs this?

Accepted Answer

A small group of long-term Bali residents and travellers who didn't like watching newcomers struggle to find their people. What started as a single WhatsApp group years back has since grown to ten we now moderate. No company, no funding — just people doing this because they care.

One club, 298 cities and growing.
